This Filipino Style of Spring Rolls is filled with ground pork, carrots, onions and egg wrapped in thin crepes called 'wrapper'. A crunchy Filipino style meat spring rolls can be eaten alone or with 'rice'. My favorite 'ulam'.

500g of ground pork
1 whole onions (finely chopped)
1 head garlic (minced)
1 medium carrot, peeled and shredded
1 tsp salt
1 tsp ground pepper
2 eggs
cooking oil
spring roll wrappers


  1. In a bowl, mix the ground pork, onions, garlic, carrot, salt and pepper.
  2. Separate the wrappers into individual sheets.
  3. Take about 1 tbsp of meat mixture and flatten it in the wrapper.
  4. Then fold the bottom of wrapper over filling and do a roll.
  5. Now in a pan over medium heat, add the cooking oil. Make sure to heat up the oil before cooking the rolls.
  6. Depends on your pan, cook the spring rolls in batches. Turn the sides to cook as needed, for about 3-5 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Then take it out and cook another batch of spring rolls.

Serve while it's hot with sweet and sour sauce. Best to eat with rice.
